Every year, we offer a summer school of a lifetime. Our Motto is Learn.Grow.Move.Meet and that’s what you will live during your time with us. Our summer school is about combining learning with fun. Intensive classes in English or German each morning will fast track your proficiency in a foreign language. Afternoons are devoted to workshops and sports such as tennis, golf, badminton, soccer and beach volleyball. You learn about business, leadership and bringing new ideas to life by running your own shop; you learn science and technology with projects like building rockets to launch in the sky or heat shields on a budget. Creativity and arts might be creating your own movie with the support of a real-life director. Evenings are dedicated to activities such as dodge ball, trivia night or karaoke, or simply around a bonfire with your new friends. You have the option of being a day school student from Monday to Friday or experiencing boarding school life, sleeping over on campus and discovering Switzerland and its wonders at the weekends. There are trips to the nearby towns of Interlaken and Brienz, to the Swiss Science Centre Technorama, the Lindt Chocolate Factory or the FIFA Museum. The two weeks on the Zugerberg are built around one idea: discover a talent, develop it with daily coaching, then show it to everyone. Children join a small camp community of around fifty students from more than fifteen countries, so the average group is about ten and every child is known by name. Mornings after breakfast belong to language learning, arranged by level from beginner to advanced, while the afternoon opens into two activity blocks drawn from a rotation of more than twenty workshops led by specialist activity leaders in art, science, sport and media. Some of these sessions are genuinely unusual for a summer camp, such as the Radio 'M' production run with Montana alumnus and US radio host Cary Harrison, or a session on the Amazon with Manari Ushigua, a leader of the Sapara Nation of Ecuador. Evenings bring cultural nights and events before an age-based bedtime, and weekends are given over to excursions across central Switzerland. On the last evening each child presents the project they have been building and takes home a talent pass documenting what they achieved.

The camp has a designated safety officer, who is also the school's Director of Campus Operations responsible for safety and infrastructure on campus. Campers are looked after by activity leaders and intern mentors, and the school describes its mountain campus as a safe, enclosed environment.

The summer camp is run on a boarding basis, with campers living on the Institut Montana campus on the Zugerberg for the two-week session. The website does not give details about room sizes, room sharing or bathrooms for the camp.

The camp uses the campus of Institut Montana, a day and boarding school located on the Zugerberg mountain outside Zug. The setting is rural and quiet, with forest and meadow trails starting at the campus and Lake Zug nearby for swimming and rowing in summer. A renovated historic chalet serves as a technology and media hub with equipment such as 3D printers, multimedia studios and a photography lab.

Drive to Schoenfels 5, Zug. Parking is available at Schoenegg if you prefer to take the funicular up. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 8am and 6pm the campus can only be reached via Blasenberg or Allenwinden.
