Activities

Each week is built around thirty hours of activity that alternate digital workshops with sport, so a morning of building, coding and creating in the labs is balanced by time on the tennis, padel, football, basketball or volleyball courts, the BMX pump track, the skate ramps or the climbing wall, with breaks and lighter moments in between. Nothing assumes prior experience: educators and instructors start every group from a basic level and gradually increase the complexity and the challenge, and the whole programme is delivered in English, with the English & Robotics and English & Storytelling routes using a hybrid Italian-English formula for children at A1/A2. Groups are kept small enough for real attention, with one educator for every ten participants in the digital labs and one for every fifteen in the sport sessions, and children are placed in bands of 5-7, 8-10, 11-14 and 14+ so that the level fits. Residential participants add around twenty hours of recreational activity each week, organised by the Summer Academy team after lessons and afternoon snack and spanning sport, culture, art and simple socialising, while the 14+ bootcamps take a project route of their own, taught by H-FARM Entrepreneurship & Startup Center for Startup & AI and by BigRock for Coding & Game Development and Fashion & Product Design. The week ends on Friday afternoon with families welcomed onto campus to hear what their child has built and to collect a certificate, available in the app, recording the skills and competences gained.

Safety & Supervision

Staff to camper ratio1:10
First-aid trained staff

The health, well-being and safety of our participants are our priority. For this reason, the Campus is served by a medical team ready to intervene to ensure the best experience for all the people involved. Participants are also constantly supervised by educators, also trained in first aid maneuvers and ready to manage possible problems (with the possibility to also receive assistance by telephone from the reference figure). At H-FARM we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that ensures every child has the opportunity to live a memorable experience. In order to guarantee the full support of the staff and the serenity of participants and their parents, we ask that you report any health problems that concern the participants (medical, nutritional, cognitive or social problems) during the registration phase. The advance communication of the various cases will allow our team to adopt the most appropriate solutions for the specific needs of each participant and facilitate assistance if necessary.

By car

Drive to H-FARM Campus, Roncade

By car the campus is reached at Via Adriano Olivetti 1, 31056 Roncade (TV), roughly ten minutes from the motorway and from Venice airport, facing the Venice lagoon. Residential participants check in on Sunday at 16:00, after which there is a presentation of the experience and of the team for the families. Shuttle

ATVO line 25A (via Venice airport and Mestre station)

This ATVO service is the most useful line for arrivals from Venice: it runs San Dona di Piave to Venezia Marco Polo airport, Venezia Mestre railway station and on to Venice Piazzale Roma, passing the campus area. There is no organised camp transport in summer, so children travelling by bus are met at the Welcome Center on campus rather than at the stop.

Shuttle

ATVO line 22 (from Treviso)

For families coming from the Treviso side, ATVO line 22 runs Treviso, San Cipriano, Ca Tron and San Dona di Piave, serving the countryside road that passes the campus. As no organised shuttle operates during the summer, plan the timing around the 8:30-9:00 check-in and 16:00-17:00 check-out windows.

Shuttle

MOM line 108 (Treviso to Lido di Jesolo)

MOM line 108 connects Treviso with San Dona di Piave, Portegrandi and Lido di Jesolo, another public option for reaching the Roncade campus. It is a practical choice for local families, keeping in mind that the school cannot guarantee an accompanied transport service in summer.

Train station

Venezia Mestre railway station

Venezia Mestre is the closest main-line station; from there ATVO line 25A continues towards Venice Marco Polo airport and the campus area, so the last leg is a short bus ride or a private transfer. Private transfers can be requested by writing to summeracademy@h-farm.com, since no organised shuttle runs during the summer season.
