Во время обучения студенты участвуют в различных мероприятиях, которые могут включать в себя спорт, игры, посещение местных достопримечательностей или организованные мероприятия в колледже/школе. Также еженедельно проводятся экскурсии за город, которые могут включать в себя посещение исторических мест Великобритании или поездки в Лондон (они зависят от недели, места и возрастной группы). Кроме того, старшеклассникам предоставляется свободное время, чтобы исследовать город в группах.
Все студенты посещают пятничные официальные ужины, а в последнюю пятницу курса в честь их успехов проводится церемония вручения дипломов.

Our safeguarding team is made up of highly trained professionals who are available 24/7 to provide support. Every tutor, teacher, and seasonal staff member undergoes DBS checks to meet the highest safeguarding standards. Each course location has dedicated safeguarding staff, offering age-appropriate supervision and tailored support to create a safe, structured, and inclusive environment.
Staff roles are clearly defined to ensure consistent support. House Parents are available at St John’s Beaumont and Eton to provide pastoral care for junior students (ages 9–12), while Welfare Officers are responsible for student well-being at our Oxford and Cambridge locations. Course Directors oversee overall student safety and support, while Activity Coordinators and Study Leaders ensure that students remain engaged and supported throughout their course. Our team is also trained in conflict resolution, student support, and emergency response, ensuring that any issues are handled swiftly and professionally.
Yes all staff are DBS checked.
Ensuring student safety requires age-appropriate supervision and dedicated professionals who understand the unique needs of different student groups. Our safeguarding team provides tailored support, ensuring that every student receives the appropriate level of care and protection.
For ages 13–24, Course Directors and Deputy Course Directors are responsible for site functionality and student welfare, supported by Welfare Officers who handle day-to-day safeguarding compliance. Course Leaders manage small student groups, ensuring personalised attention and structured activities. Study Leaders support tutors and oversee the academic experience.
For ages 9–12, House Parents provide consistent pastoral care, while Welfare Managers ensure that all safeguarding protocols are followed. Activity Managers oversee planning and excursions, ensuring that students remain engaged and safe.
Best of all summer camps so far!
This is the 4th Summer Camp for our daughter and the 1st time with Oxford Summer Courses and by far the best! She was positively gushing over the phone every two days what a great time she was having! Her Chemistry tutor was excellent and she is even more encouraged that this her subject of choice for studying at Uni. She had a good time in class but also had fun with all the organised activities and trips. She particularly enjoyed the day trip to London and the outdoor Shakespeare theatre evening! Highly recommend!
Phenomenal Experience!
Oxford Summer Courses was a phenomenal experience. I especially gained from the tutorial style seminars, as opposed to a lecture seminar. We were expected to learn all of the material prior to the course, and then have a three hour discussion in class, based off of what we read/learned prior. This experience opened my eyes to what learning can be. This style of learning is far more engaging, and likely effective than the mere expectation of hearing material in class and then consuming the information for later regurgitation. This setting fostered critical thinking and emulated a peer-review experience, that is expected in higher academia. I also appreciated and enjoyed being able to engage with my tutor during class, having the time to ask questions and delve into answers. The small class setting made this possible. Lastly, Oxford Summer Courses was a great environment to make friends and acquaintances from different walks of life, with the opportunity to learn about different cultures.
I had the best experience of my life
I had the best experience of my life. For two weeks, I had a chance to learn and explore amazing knowledge by a very kind tutor. Besides the classes, the friendship I had during two weeks, all the great activities and relevant stuff made my experience much more amazing. I recommend it to everyone who is willing to go and see Oxford’s fascinating atmosphere with a very informative course.
