Ranum International Summer Camps are run by Ranum Efterskole College, one of Denmark's largest general international efterskoler and the largest in Northern Jutland, with more than 500 boarding students during the school year. The camps draw on the school's permanent team of around 100 to 110 employees, including subject teachers who also coach surfing, wakeboarding, diving, dance and music, school nurses and social workers, an in-house kitchen brigade and maintenance staff. The school is a Cambridge exam centre and follows the guidelines of the Danish Efterskole Association.

“Honestly, I'm so happy that I chose this boarding-school. I had lots opportunities to experience different subjects to search subjects to see if they were suitable for me, in which ended being super succesful. The staff as well are very welcoming, helpful and happy! Don't even get me started about the food, because the food in the canteen is definitely revolutionary. Even if I were supposed to be feeling alone, I would always have someone or somebody to talk to. The social environment here gets a 5-star rating from here!”
