ACADEMIC PROGRAMME

In the mornings, students can choose between two courses: ‘ITALIAN LANGUAGE & CULTURE’ and ‘ART & FASHION COLLECTION’.

ITALIAN LANGUAGE & CULTURE:
In this course campers will immerse themselves in Italian language and culture through engaging conversations that build grammar skills and vocabulary, while boosting confidence. Teachers will use fun face-to face lessons and interactive methods such as: individual and group projects, quizzes and games, videos, role-playing exercises, art and craft activities, activities in the local area, cooking classes, tote-bag customisation.

ART & FASHION COLLECTION:
In this course campers will explore the steps of the design methodology for a Fashion Capsule Collection, from initial concept to final product. Participants will engage with image research, brand identity, mood board, mood, colour palettes, and material research, all leading to dynamic sketches and designs. The course will also provide an overview of the Italian fashion system and the roles inside its industry. Each student’s final project will be organized into a personalized portfolio.

In the afternoon all students come together for the UPCYCLING & SUSTAINABLE FASHION course. This course offers a unique blend of craftsmanship and creativity, seamlessly integrating fashion with sustainability. Students will explore sustainable manufacturing techniques such as upcycling, recycling, reuse, deconstruction, and reconstruction, working with existing clothing and creating their own final garment or accessory.
