概要
オックスフォード サマー コースでは、ケンブリッジ*の 13 ～ 24 歳の学生を対象に、40 以上の科目にわたるエキサイティングな 2 週間または 4 週間のサマー プログラムを提供しています。ケンブリッジ大学のカレッジ内でホストされている世界中からの学生と一緒に、専門の家庭教師の指導を受けながら、好きなトピックを掘り下げてみましょう。
少人数制のクラスでは、生徒の興味に合わせた指導が行われ、ディベートやディスカッションを通して、生徒の視野を広げ、新しい考え方を身につけることができるよう工夫されています。当校のコースは、決められたシラバスや試験に縛られることなく、自分の情熱を探求し、主題に本気で取り組むことができるようサポートされます。この教育スタイルは、オックスフォード大学やケンブリッジ大学で採用されているもので、その迅速な展開と、自立した批判的思考力の重視に定評があります。このようなスキルは、効果的な意思決定を行い、自分の進路を決定するために不可欠なものです。
さらに、学習をサポートする英国の有名な史跡への小旅行や、生涯続く友情を築くためのソーシャル・アクティビティ、正式なカレッジ・ディナー、コース終了時の卒業式などの特典もあります。

活動内容
Students participate in a range of activities whilst on course, which may include sports, games, a local visit or an organised event at the college. There are also weekly excursions outside of the city, which may include trips to UK historical sites or into London (these vary by week, location and by age group). In addition older students are given free time to explore the city in groups.
All students attend Friday night formal college dinners and receive a graduation ceremony on the last Friday of their course to celebrate their progress.

We have more than 40 academic courses available to choose from, from Business and Entrepreneurship, Medicine, Law, Engineering, Psychology and Maths through to Creative Writing, History and Marketing and Media – plus many more!

宿泊施設は年齢によって異なります。13～25歳の学生はフィッツウィリアム・カレッジ、16～17歳の学生はケンブリッジのシドニー・サセックス・カレッジ、18～24歳の学生はケンブリッジのコーパス・クリスティーに滞在します。オックスフォードでのコースもあります。

Best of all summer camps so far!
This is the 4th Summer Camp for our daughter and the 1st time with Oxford Summer Courses and by far the best! She was positively gushing over the phone every two days what a great time she was having! Her Chemistry tutor was excellent and she is even more encouraged that this her subject of choice for studying at Uni. She had a good time in class but also had fun with all the organised activities and trips. She particularly enjoyed the day trip to London and the outdoor Shakespeare theatre evening! Highly recommend!
A wonderful summer course experience
As Shreyansh mentioned to me he enjoyed the course thoroughly. Seminars were great and the activities were engaging. He also enjoyed company of other students and could manage to make great friends. We recommend the course for other students which will definitely help in profile building for prospective students.
My daughter attended Oxford Summer Courses and loved it! From the academics to the excursions to the connections she developed with people from around the world, she considered this a once in a lifetime experience. She was literally crying when we picked her up – she didn’t want to leave, and she had made many best friends for life. I highly recommend this program for any young person looking to expand her mind intellectually, socially, and culturally.
