Have the Summer of a Lifetime at LAS Summer in Switzerland!
Since 1949, LAS Summer in Switzerland has offered an incredible residential summer experience at our beautiful campus in the Swiss Alps. Our program combines all the elements of an incredible summer camp, and students from all over the world connect in a safe and supportive alpine community as they enjoy classes, clubs, and exceptional summer activities. Switzerland is their playground, and our weekend excursions allow our summer students to take advantage of the best that our incredible country has to offer.
In the morning, students choose one of three tracks: Language Acquisition (French or English), Leadership Courses, or Enrichment Courses.
In the early afternoon, students choose one of the following incredible clubs: Team Sports, Visual Arts, Robotics and Programming, Performing Arts, Hiking and Climbing, Cooking and Baking, and Tennis.
In the late afternoon, students choose an afternoon activity. We offer so many activities that students can choose something different every day and never do the same thing twice! From horseback riding to ice skating, this is a great time for students to try something new!
Every weekend of our summer program offers a delightful blend of exploration, relaxation, and cultural immersion, perfect for recharging and experiencing the wonders of Switzerland and beyond!
In 2024, each session features two special city excursions. The first is a trip to a charming Swiss city – Bern in Session 1, Geneva in Session 2. The second excursion is an international journey, taking you to Annecy, France in Session 1, and Aosta, Italy in Session 2. These trips offer opportunities for sightseeing, souvenir shopping, engaging activities, enjoying a meal out, spending quality time with friends, and more.
Most of our students say that living with other students and making new friends from around the world is their favorite part of summer school.
