Provided by our partner Pestalozzi Kinderdorf, with on-site health facility and trained first-aid. The city of St. Gallen is a 10 minute auto ride, and provides state-of-the-art full-scale health facilities should they be necessary.  Accredited social workers are on-site provided by camp host.

Flight Camp instructors have a minimum of college level experience specifically focused on model airplane construction, physics, electrical engineering.
Supervisor instructors are 10+ year experienced child-care providers in a state accredited educational institution.
Participation in Pestalozzi Kinderdorf training for conflict intervention and resolution. Site training in first aid and first responder resources.

We staff for multi-lingual and multi-cultural support as a matter of course.  We have an active financial support program in Central Europe which naturally attracts children from diverse cultures and financial means.

Personal devices are collected after evening chill time and returned to participants after breakfast.  Personal devices are to be used exclusively for content associated with the flight camp program, gathering personal media files of flight camp experiences or to communicate with parents.  The use of personal devices for any other purpose will not be tolerated.

Main Activities:
Build Model Airplanes - We have builds for complete beginners up to seasoned pros. We have the full range of electronic components and building materials to build elaborate and large scale airplanes. In addition, we have state of the art 3D Printing and Laser Cutting Capability
Learn Fabrication - Learn how to 3D Print or Laser Cut your own custom features for airplanes
Learn To Fly - Learn from our young, expert trainers that have many years of experience building, flying and instructing others. Our equipment features "buddy boxing" capabilities to make sure kids stay in the air and can rely on our instructors for back-up when they lose control. Use our simulators to learn how to fly before taking your real airplane to the skies.
Learn Aviation Basics - Learn about aerodynamics, the physics of flying (power plant, control surfaces, lift, etc), while applying your knowledge through iterative application to your airplanes.
Participate in Flying Projects:
Put your airplane and flying skills to use: Races, Functional Skill applications, and the "Final Day Fly-In Extravaganza" where all the airplanes take to the air to show off skills and physical appearance.
Learn Radio Production Skills - Take advantage of the Pestalozzi Kinderdorf's commitment to teaching camp participants Digital Audio Media production for Radio Broadcast or Podcast. Kids will learn the basics of reportage, radio journalism, digital editing audio skills, and broadcasting via Radio and Internet. A variety of outdoor activities taking advantage of our location in the Swiss Alps and proximity to nearby natural resources: Lake Constanz, Hiking, Stand-Up Paddle Board, Kayak Evening / Alternative Activities: Table Tennis, Gaming Night, Movie Night, St. Gallen Airport Tour, Drei Weieren Lakeside Swimming, Farm Visit, Biking, 3D Printing, Laser Cutting
