Our Oxford centre is hosted in the prestigious St Edwards school, near Oxford city centre. Only 1.5 hours from London, Oxford is a historic city famous for its ancient university. We host five English language courses at this centre, for students aged 12-17. The centre has 32 tennis courts, a cricket pitch and pavilion, dance studio, and its own concert hall. Oxford is a small, safe and beautiful city, full of culture and history.

Overview
Our Oxford centre is hosted in the prestigious St Edwards school, near Oxford city centre. Only 1.5 hours from London, Oxford is a historic city famous for its ancient university. We host five English language courses at this centre, for students aged 12-17. The centre has 32 tennis courts, a cricket pitch and pavilion, dance studio, and its own concert hall. Oxford is a small, safe and beautiful city, full of culture and history.
Students will learn English, meet new friends from all over the world, explore London and other parts of the UK on fantastic supervised study trips, and enhance life skills such as confidence, team-working and independence. There are on-site social activities every evening and the courses focus on learning through fun, with different topics every week. Students will be looked after 24/7 by IH London on-site staff and we’ll meet them at London Heathrow airport upon arrival.
Accommodation
We provide single, twin, triple or quad rooms, each with an individual study desk, wardrobe and storage space. Each boarding house contains comfortable student lounges with a TV and space for students to socialise. We have dedicated welfare staff in each house and maintain separate sleeping facilities for boys and girl. We provide a regular laundry service and all bed linen is changed once a week. Students share bathrooms with other students of the same gender.
We also have a premium boarding house option available for students at Oxford.

Activities
Our Oxford centre boasts 32 tennis courts, indoor and outdoor sports pitches for football, basketball and more, a dance studio and beautiful large grounds. The amazing facilities allow our wonderful team of activity leaders to organise a wide range of creative and sporty activities for students to enjoy outside of their English lessons. Activities take place every afternoon and evening and focus on developing skills such as teamwork.
As well as daily activities, students will have the opportunity to take one full day excursion outside of Oxford per week, as well as one half day excursion every week. Excursion destinations include London, Bath and Cambridge.

- Intensive English - Prepare students to study in an English-speaking environment and gain an English language qualification.
- Future Leaders: Entrepreneurship - For ages 14-17, an English course for budding entrepreneurs to build their skills and a business plan for their big ideas.
- Future Leaders: World Leaders - For ages 14-17, a summer English course for the next world leaders: explore global issues, such as climate change and help build a better world.

My favourite thing was the people. The people here were all very nice and very friendly, it was very great.
It’s been amazing to get to know people from other countries and other cultures. It’s great to have classes with international people, it’s been a really cool experience.
