Overview
Camp Timberlane is an overnight summer camp located in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands in Ontario, Canada. We are situated on our own private Lake of Two Islands just 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto. Entering our 66th year of camping, we are committed to ensuring this summer is unforgettable, and filled with new experiences & friendships.
We offer unparalleled programs and activities for children ages 8 to 15. Timberlane has become known to three generations of campers and staff as a camp where each person is cared for as an individual. This quality of personal attention is still one of the cornerstones for our success. Our dynamic staff team is comprised of over 200 individuals from all over the globe. Our philosophy at Timberlane is that campers have the best and learn from the bes to create amazing memories. The standard of a child's success at Timberlane is deeply rooted within the spirit, integrity and traditions that we are all a part of.
Accommodation
Campers reside in cabins designed to accommodate 12-16 individuals in the main room, with an additional 4-6 beds in a smaller, adjacent room for staff. Each cabin is equipped with its own bathroom facilities, and designated shower buildings are conveniently located nearby. Our recently renovated cabins feature pine interiors, ceiling fans, and enhanced facilities, including multiple bathrooms and showers. The addition of glass windows and covered porches allows for breathtaking views of our private lake and woods. The Health is fully stocked with medical supplies to aid with everything from minor abrasions to more serious conditions. We have a defibrillator on site. If our medical staff feels that a camper needs treatment that we are unable to provide, we have excellent medical facilities just 12 minutes away in Haliburton.
