Take part in a brand new programme this summer, in partnership with the prestigious R66T Academy to develop your cricket skills and learn what it takes to become a professional cricketer. Join us at Royal Holloway for our Cricket Summer Camp and receive training from ECB qualified coaches representing former England captain Joe Root's cricket academy. Develop your bowling, batting and wicketkeeping skills with coaching Masterclasses from ECB Level 3 coaches.
Cricket Training with The R66T Academy
This summer our students will be receiving cricket coaching from The R66T Academy. Founded in 2018 by former England captain Joe Root, the academy has worked with thousands of students from around the world. They bring top tier coaching and an insight into the world of professional cricket in the UK. Students will take part in cricket coaching sessions & workshops designed to not only improve their batting, bowling and wicketkeeping skills but their all-round fitness and wellbeing too. Our students will have the chance to attend full-day excursions to London sporting landmarks such as Lord’s Cricket Ground and the Kia Oval, with tickets to first class cricket matches first class cricket matches.

Camp begins on 02 August 2026 for Residential players, and on 03 August 2026 for Day Camp players. Bookings are available for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks with a unique programme schedule for Residential or Day Camp players.

Academics
There is a broad and bespoke academic programme included on Cricket with The R66T Academy, combining coaching and on-pitch activities and masterclasses with an academic programme to develop cricketers’ off-pitch skills. This includes;

– Diet, nutrition, injury recovery and prevention

Meals:
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided on campus and included in our all-inclusive programme. Packaged meals are given when on excursion.

The campus is fully staffed with a Centre Manager, Student Support & Welfare Managers, Activity Manager & Leaders with regular visits from head office operational staff
Every member of our staff has a criminal record check before being employed by us.
Every summer centre has a dedicated safeguarding officer who students can speak to if they have any problems. This is typically the Welfare Manager or Centre Manager.
In case of any medical matters arising, all centres have staff members trained in First Aid.
It is compulsory that all our members of staff are professionally DBS checked and trained in student welfare and safeguarding. In addition, all staff applications must be supported by a minimum 2 references. A risk assessment is written should this still be in process.

Mobile phones are allowed on campus, however academic staff reserve the right to prohibit these in a classroom setting.
Location
The nearest airport to Cricket with The R66T Academy and Oxford International is London Heathrow. Airport pickup is available upon request. If you have arranged transfers with Oxford International a member of our staff will be waiting for you at the arrivals gate. They will accompany you by coach or taxi to your centre, where a member of the management team will be waiting to greet you. After the programme for the first day has been explained, you will be shown to your accommodation and given a campus tour. Most centres will hold a Group Leader meeting on the first evening.
