Provider — How World Camps Works

Messaging Families

Updated 4 Sept 2026

Every booking opens a conversation thread with the family. Here's what you can do with it, and what depends on your plan.

Reading messages is always free

You can always read every message a family sends you — this is never limited by your plan.

Replying needs an active plan

Replying to a family's message requires your camp to be on an active commercial plan (Marketplace Partner, Pro or Premium). If your camp is on the Free Listing plan, you can read what families send but can't reply until you activate bookings on a paid plan.

AI reply drafts

World Camps can draft a reply for you to review and send. Pro and Premium include reply drafts as standard; Marketplace Partner gets 25 drafts a month; the Free Listing plan doesn't include them. On every plan there's a daily ceiling of 20 drafts per camp.

Keep contact on-platform

Messages and booking notifications go through World Camps — including a masked relay address, so a family's real inbox is never exposed. On Pro and Premium you can reply to enquiries straight from your own email; on other plans you reply in the World Camps inbox. Asking a family to move the conversation off-platform, or to email or call you directly to arrange payment or send medical forms, isn't something the platform supports and isn't allowed under the Provider Terms. Medical, dietary, and consent information should always be collected through the booking's "Required before camp" checklist, not by email.
