Day camp for teens (13–18) designed for real Spanish immersion in a safe, friendly and inspiring environment by the sea in Málaga. Teens enjoy dynamic daily classes taught by native, qualified teachers who specialise in working with young learners. Lessons are interactive, fun and adapted to teenagers’ interests and levels, so they learn naturally through conversation, games, projects and real-life situations.
Outside the classroom, students take part in exciting cultural, creative and sports activities every day — from beach games and workshops to visits around the city — giving them the chance to practise Spanish while having fun, gaining confidence, and making friends from around the world. On Saturdays, full-day excursions take them to nearby highlights such as charming coastal towns, historical sites or natural landscapes, allowing them to discover the best of southern Spain and Andalusian culture.
Opcional accommodation in host family:
Students may stay with carefully selected Spanish host families, who provide a warm and welcoming environment and help them practise Spanish in everyday situations. it offers a true cultural immersion experience.
Our school is located in a quiet and safe residential area, just 10 minutes from Malaga’s historic centre and only 1 minute from the beach, providing the perfect setting for teenagers to learn, explore and feel at ease.

MONDAY – TOUR THROUGH MALAGA
Enjoy a stroll through the Malaga streets to get to know the city and your new classmates better. Start your adventure in Malaga with this activity.
TUESDAY – CONVERSATION AT THE BEACH
Do you feel like speaking Spanish but you don´t know who with? Sign up to this activity and you will chat with your teacher in a bar while you enjoy views of the sea.
WEDNESDAY – VISIT TO EL HAMMAN THE ARAB BATHS
The charm and tranquillity of a spa in the heart of the city. Relax in the Arab Baths and enjoy an unforgettable afternoon.
THURSDAY – AQUATIC ACTIVITIES
Have fun in the sea with these aquatic activities and cool down at the beach with you school classmates. Minimum 8 participants.
FRIDAY – BOAT TOUR
Enjoy stunning views of Malaga from the sea at sunset. Share this trip with the breeze, the dolphins and the gentle movement of the waves.

Spanish Camp specifically designed for adolescents:
The brain of adolescents learns differently. Its characteristics, cerebral and physiological development, the environmental factors that surround their learning, their search for identity, peer pressure, and the repercussion that all this has on behaviour are components that have been taken into account when developing our pedagogical programme at Cervantes Escuela Internacional.
Themes:
They will talk about their world: their identity; their friends and other relationships; their hobbies; sports; music; their environment; their habits; their leisure activities……
It is fundamental to spark their curiosity and therefore we have a wide selection of digital materials designed to capture their attention.
Attitudes and values:
When we teach Spanish to adolescents, the language and the culture are only one part, we are EDUCATING them and it is our responsibility that via the activities, texts and projects we propose, the students learn important issues such as: show respect and tolerance for diversity.
Alojamento & instalações
The accommodation is an essential part of your stay in Malaga, Spain, that is why Cervantes International pays special attention to its selection, through periodic visits and the feedback from students.
Most students select host family and we highly recommend this choice. However, for those students who wish to be more independent we can highly recommend the Private Apartments or the Shared Apartments, managed by the Cervantes International School.
Whichever option you choose you can be assured of the best quality accommodation which has been inspected and recommended by a member of the Cervantes International school.
HOST FAMILY
Living with a Spanish family gives you the opportunity to get the best out of the course, to get to know the food, the culture and the Spanish customs.
You will be part of real Spanish life and this experience will improve your command of Spanish. It is logical that you will have to adopt a little to the habits of the family, but you will be able to enjoy their friendship and yet on the other hand, be independent, with your own front door key you can choose an individual room or a double and half board (2 meals, normally continental breakfast and dinner) or full board (3 meals, continental breakfast, lunch and dinner).
All our collaborated host families are close to the school (between 5 to 20 minutes by foot) and to the beach. Our collaborated families are carefully selected by the school and they are used to have students from all over the world. This accommodation is available between the Sunday prior to the first day of the course (Monday), until the Saturday following the last day of class (Friday). But if you need your accommodation to be available before or after these dates, for example for flight reasons, this is possible and you will be charged for any extra days needed (up to a maximum of 2 extra days).
SHARED APARTMENTS
When you live in an flat with other students, you will share your experiences with five or six people from different countries and cultures and you will make friends.
Each flat has a lounge with TV, a fully equipped kitchen, one or two bathrooms and three or four bedrooms.
You can choose between a double or a single room. You only need to bring towels with you.
PRIVATE APARTMENTS
Cervantes EI private apartments are modern and functional. Cervantes EI offers its customers spacious studios for individuals or couples and apartments for families and groups of students that wish to combine their Spanish course and vacations in an idyllic setting just 10 minutes from the beach. The apartments are equipped with a terrace, air-conditioning, flat screen TV, WIFI internet connection, a functioning kitchen with utensils, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine, lounge with sofa bed and bedrooms with towels and bed linen included.

Cancellations must be made in writing at least 10 days in advance. The amount paid will be refunded, except:
- €155 for general courses.
- €420 for internship programs.
No refund will be given in case of no-show or course abandonment.
Cancellations with less than 10 days’ notice, due to force majeure or other justified reason: a voucher will be issued for the amount paid, valid for 1 year from the reserved course start date.
For external accommodations (private or shared apartment), refunds may not be possible.
For students requesting an admission letter for a visa:
- If the visa is denied, the amount paid will be refunded minus €300 for administrative costs, provided that the original official denial certificate issued by the consulate is presented.
- Without this document, 100% of the program will be charged.
- If the visa is granted but the student does not attend, the Immigration Office will be officially notified.
Localização
The nearest airport to Cervantes Escuela Internacional is Aeropuerto de Málaga – Costa del Sol. Airport pickup is available upon request. Extra service / If you book our transfer service, you won’t have to worry about anything upon arrival. Our driver will pick you up at the airport or train station and provide you with your accommodation keys.
