YMCA Camp Mason is an independent YMCA camp on a 460-acre site in Hardwick, New Jersey, originally founded in 1900 as Camp Washington and relocated to its present location in 1957. Based on that founding date it describes itself as one of the oldest continuously operating camps in the world, having served more than half a million people, and it provides over $200,000 in financial assistance annually. A year-round leadership and operations team, led by CEO Keith VanDerzee and COO Alison Fisk, is joined by up to 100 seasonal staff at the peak of summer.
