The Camp Editor and Publishing

Your camp editor is where you build and manage your listing. Here's what it takes to go live.

Two separate things get published: your camp, and each session

Your camp profile is published by you, from Review & Publish. It needs a complete Basic Info and Audience section and at least 5 photos — there's no approval step and no minimum number of sessions. You can have a fully published, visible camp profile with zero sessions on it while you finish setting up dates and prices.

Each session is published separately, from the same editor, once it has its dates, prices, and capacity set. Publishing a session needs one extra thing: the Child safety confirmation under Account → Verification (a single checkbox — no documents to upload), unless you're on a Pro or Premium plan, in which case sessions publish without that requirement.

What's in the editor

The editor covers Basic Info, Audience, Photos & Media, Activities (the sections here follow your camp's own activity categories), Skills & Levels Required, Booking Requirements, What's Included, Optional Add-ons, Discounts, Accommodation, Meals & Dietary, Daily Schedule, Safety & Policies, Parent Info, What to pack, Location & Campus, Getting There, Excursions & Trips, and Translations. Translations

If you sell internationally, your short text fields (camp name, description, session and add-on names) and your rich profile sections are shown to families in several languages. Auto-generated translations are marked "Auto"; anything you write yourself is marked "Edited". Editing the English original after it's translated marks it "Stale" in red — that's a prompt to re-check it, not a fault. Edit English first, then check the Translations tab, rather than editing a translated version directly.

Before you go live

Publishing is only part of getting ready to take a booking. Your dashboard's "Activate bookings" checklist tracks all of it: Child safety confirmation, Sessions & prices, Deposit settings, Payment policies, Stripe Connect, and finally Activate payments — the last one is our approval to take real money.
