Vue d'ensemble
Le camp d'été unique où nous grandissons et apprenons ensemble. Camper au milieu des bois, regarder les éclairs illuminer le ciel nocturne, sentir la pluie sur nos visages et la force du vent au sommet des montagnes. Nous marchons avec la nature à la recherche de la simplicité, de la réalité la plus intime et la plus sauvage.
Le Pyrene Summer Camp a débuté en 2010, fusionnant les philosophies des camps de volontaires, de l'éducation non-formelle et des camps d'été. Avec 5 camps différents à choisir, nous offrons :
JUNIOR ADVENTURE (pour les garçons et les filles de 10 à 13 ans) - WILD ADVENTURE (pour les adolescents de 14 à 17 ans)
ÉQUITATION DÉBUTANT (de 10 à 13 ans) - ÉQUITATION AVANCÉE (de 14 à 17 ans)
BIKE JUNIOR (de 10 à 13 ans) - BIG BIKE (de 14 à 17 ans)
PYRENE EXPLORER (de 16 à 18 ans) - BIG TREKKING (de 16 à 18 ans) - JUNIOR TREKKING (de 13 à 15 ans)
MINAIRONS (de 7 à 9 ans)
Commençant la dernière semaine de juin, et finissant la dernière semaine de juillet, le camp d'été des Pyrénées vous propose 5 vacations hebdomadaires. Les campeurs peuvent rester 1 semaine, 2, 3 ou 4 semaines au camp, en faisant chaque semaine une spécialité différente. Nous offrons un service de location pour tout matériel que vous ne pouvez pas porter ou que vous ne possédez pas, comme une veste de montagne, un sac de couchage, un sac à dos ou un vélo de montagne, afin de faciliter la tâche de ceux qui viennent de l'étranger. Découvrons ensemble les Pyrénées et faisons-nous de nouveaux amis du monde entier !

Académique
Our main objective is not an academic program, but rather we seek the development of the child in nature, in a group and through learning new physical and intellectual skills.
Calendrier
All camps start at 8:15am, which is when we wake the children up, and end around 10pm after the night game. This schedule is not entirely fixed and will depend on the night activities and night games.
Hébergement et installations
The Sustainable Pyrene Campsite is located at the base of the Lles de Cerdanya Cross Country Resort. It’s found at 1.500m above sea level. The camp is surrounded by mountain pine forest and deep blue lakes, with 3.000m high mountain peaks touching the clouds. The base lies at the foot of the Tossa Plana de Lles massif, with marvellous views of Cadí, Tossa d’Alp, Puigmal and the Cerdanya Valley.The camp is 30 minutes (18 km) away from Martinet de Cerdanya by car and can be reached from Arànser via a well maintained paved road. Although easily accessible, the base camp is in a wild and unspoilt corner of the Cerdanya Valley. All 6 camps are located at the campsite. It’s a place where you can meet up with friends, share experiences and take on fun challenges.We are settled at the Refuge El Fornell: our facilities include a large dining area for when it’s rainy or cold, a professional kitchen, storage areas and toilets.We have breakfast, lunch and dinner outside if the weather permits. Next to the Refuge El Fornell we have tables and benches protected from the sun with a gazebo. The gazebo also has lights for nighttime seating. Twenty metres away we have four 25 person tents where we sleep in bunk beds. Clothes are stored in individual boxes, while suitcases, bikes, helmets and saddles are stored in the storage areas. The tents are illuminated with solar energy. Also solar powered are our 6 hot water showers. It’s incredible to have a shower in the middle of the woods! The campsite is protected from cows, horses and deer by a wooden fence.

Q&R
There is a 100% refund of the amount until May 31st, three weeks before all camps start. In the horse riding and pyrene explorer camps there is no refund option once the reservation has been made. If you take out the 45€ cancellation insurance, in case you have to cancel the reservation for any reason and at any time (even if the camp has already started), with the cancellation insurance you get a refund of the amount of the reservation, to be 100% covered against any unforeseen event.
In all camps there are professional monitors to carry out the activities. In addition, there are responsible monitors who are in charge of supervising each camp and leading the activities.
It is requested that monitors are qualified and have a good level of English, experience in monitoring and have an up-to-date sex crimes certificate.

Through their personal experience and qualifications, we ensure that we have qualified and trusted instructors, who are prepared to be in camps like ours.
Respect is an essential value in our camps. The priority is always that the children are well and feel comfortable with the group, regardless of their condition, religion, gender or any other characteristic that defines them.
Localisation
The nearest airport to Pyrene Summer Camp is Barcelona El Prat (BCN). Airport pickup is available upon request. Every Sunday we offer PICK UP service and every Saturday DROP OFF at Barcelona Airport (BCN).Before buying tickets, contact us. We are at the airport on Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm picking up campers arriving from all over the world. We coordinate the pick-up of children under 12 years old with the flight attendants and help recover lost luggage if unfortunately their suitcases are lost. And from the airport we set off to the camp, making a 2-hour journey.On Saturdays when the camps end, we ask families to pick up their tickets no earlier than 2 pm and no later than 7 pm.If you are away during the week of your child’s camp, we can pick them up at your door, if you live in the Barcelona area.
