Kuwait Sailing School is a local, family-run club founded in 2019 by Kuwaiti sailor Shayma Bakhesh together with her husband, and built without outside investors from a single boat into a fleet assembled from second-hand and donated craft. It is an RYA-affiliated club and also operates an Emergency First Response (EFR) Centre delivering certified first aid and CPR training.
