Preguntas y respuestas
We have a 1:3 staff to camper ratio which assures all campers will have amazing supervision keeping them safe and accounted for. We divide our kids into groups by age and program. We have our explorers ages 4-6, go wild ages 7-10, thrill seekers ages 11-13 and mavericks ages 14-17. These age groups work very well together and are at an age where they can all bond very well.
Camp Counsellors are graduates of our Leadership program and hold certification in First Aid, Bronze Cross, ORCKA, WHMIS and they have special training for Archery, Aerial Park, Trampoline and age-appropriate games. Our programs are taught by professional coaches, who are “Coach Canada” (NCCP) certified, and the instruction is world-class. Our waterfront is supervised by Lifeguards
Yes all of our staff have a clear background check and all of our staff over the age of 18 have a police check done on them.
Our staff training consists of 3 to 7 days of education regarding all factors of the camp. We have specialty staff for specific programs such as high ropes, water sports, figure skating, hockey etc. We are consistently giving feedback to our staff insuring everything is running smoothly.
Everyone is treated equally and we train all of our staff to properly address any issues including diversity and inclusion if they were to occur. We are a very diverse camp and we have always had staff and campers from all around the world.
