Our Gran Canaria Summer Camp offers a unique combination of language learning, cultural immersion, and outdoor adventure in one of Spain’s most attractive destinations. Located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, just minutes from the famous Las Canteras Beach, the camp allows students to learn Spanish or English while experiencing island life in a safe, vibrant and international environment.
Our methodology is based on active communication and practical learning, following the CEFR framework, where students develop their language skills through interactive lessons, teamwork, and real-life situations. Classes are taught by qualified native teachers and designed to be dynamic, engaging, and focused on building confidence in speaking.
What makes our camp stand out is the combination of language education with authentic local experiences. Students explore the island’s culture, beaches, and natural landscapes while interacting with other international participants, creating a true immersion experience.

A typical day combines language classes, cultural visits, sports activities, and excursions, allowing students to practice the language naturally while discovering the island and interacting with other international students.
The weekly schedule usually includes language classes during the morning or afternoon, followed by leisure activities, cultural visits, or sports. In addition, students take part in four half-day excursions and two full-day excursions per week to explore the island and its main attractions.
The activity program is designed to complement the academic experience while allowing students to discover the culture, nature, and lifestyle of Gran Canaria.
Students participate in a wide range of sports, cultural visits, and outdoor activities, such as surf lessons at Las Canteras Beach, beach sports, kayaking, paddle surfing, and group games. These activities promote teamwork, confidence, and social interaction while enjoying the island’s natural environment.
The program also includes cultural and educational visits to important sites in Las Palmas, such as the Elder Museum of Science and Technology, the Poema del Mar Aquarium, and guided walking tours through the historic districts of Vegueta and Triana, where students can learn about the history and culture of the city.
In addition, students take part in full-day excursions to some of the most iconic places on the island, including Maspalomas Dunes, Puerto Rico Beach, Mogán, Anfi del Mar, Guayadeque caves, and traditional villages such as Arucas and Teror. These trips allow students to experience the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Gran Canaria.
The program concludes with a farewell party and certificate ceremony, where students celebrate their experience, friendships, and achievements during the camp.
Optional extra activities are also available, including water sports (jet ski, paragliding flight, banana boat), escape rooms, and airsoft for students looking for additional adventure experiences.

Details of the Academic Programs Offered:
The academic program of the Gran Canaria Summer Camp is designed for students aged 12–18 and focuses on developing practical communication skills in an international and interactive environment. Students can choose between English or Spanish courses, with 20 lessons per week (15 hours) taught by qualified native teachers.
The courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and are designed to help students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through communicative and task-based learning. Lessons encourage active participation and include group work, projects, and real-life communication activities that help students gain confidence using the language in everyday situations.
Classes are organized in small groups of up to 20 students, ensuring a dynamic learning environment and allowing teachers to provide personalized support and continuous feedback throughout the program. Teaching materials and activities are adapted to the students’ level and learning style, helping them consolidate previous knowledge while developing new language skills.
Continuous evaluation is used to monitor students’ progress during the camp, ensuring that each participant benefits from a structured and effective learning experience while enjoying the cultural and social aspects of the program.

During the week, students take part in four half-day excursions, which may include activities such as surf lessons at Las Canteras Beach, beach sports, kayaking, visits to museums, city tours, or cultural landmarks in Las Palmas.
In addition, the program includes two full-day excursions each week to explore the island of Gran Canaria. These excursions may include visits to places such as Maspalomas Dunes, Puerto Rico Beach, Mogán, Anfi del Mar, Guayadeque caves, or traditional villages like Arucas and Teror.
Evenings are dedicated to social and leisure activities, such as group games, free time with supervision, or special events. The program ends with a farewell party and certificate ceremony, celebrating the students’ experience and achievements during the camp.

Accommodation and Facilities
Students attending the Gran Canaria Summer Camp stay in 4-star hotels located in the city center of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, within walking distance of both the school and Las Canteras Beach. Accommodation is provided in shared rooms with 2–3 students per room, creating a comfortable and social environment where participants can interact with other international students. Each room includes Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout the stay.
Students receive full board, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are usually served at the hotel, while during full-day excursions students receive a packed lunch or eat at a local restaurant.
The academic program takes place at Language Campus facilities in Language Campus in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which are equipped with modern classrooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, computers, and digital screens to support interactive learning.
The camp benefits from its prime urban location, allowing easy access to beaches, cultural attractions, sports facilities, museums, and other activity locations used throughout the program. This setting provides students with a safe and dynamic environment where they can learn, explore, and enjoy the island.

Ubicación
The nearest airport to Language Campus – Gran Canaria is Aeropuerto de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Airport pickup is available upon request. Airport transfers are included for students arriving at Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) on the official arrival and departure dates of the camp. Students are welcomed at the airport by Language Campus staff, who accompany them safely to the Hotel accommodation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Participants should provide their flight details in advance so that transfers can be properly arranged. For departures, students are accompanied back to the airport and assisted with the check-in process when necessary, ensuring a safe and organized transfer experience.
