For over 40 years, Bucksmore Education has been providing students with innovative and engaging academic short courses, centred around helping young people find and pursue their passions and ambitions. Our broad range of English language courses allow students to follow their own unique Bucksmore Journey that can complement and add value to their current school curriculum. Designed to develop and challenge students, our programmes offer a high-level of English language development and academic content, ranging from industry insights to university preparation that students can use to help them progress towards their future education and career goals.

Outside of class, students practice English through a variety of fun activities. These activities are designed to help students use their new language skills in social situations and make new friends. Our courses include a full range of activities, so there’s always something interesting happening. Our goal is for every student to try something new during their course. All our courses include many high-quality excursions where students can practice the language they’ve learned in class. These excursions are included in the course fees, so there are no extra charges, even for activities like going to see a West End theatre show! Each course is balanced with lessons, activities, and excursions to give students a taste of life in the UK while improving their speaking and understanding of everyday English. Students enjoy a packed activity schedule along with two full-day and one half-day excursion each week. Each week, students go on full-day excursions to London and another destination. They also have a half-day excursion to a nearby place.

Unterkunft & Einrichtungen
Bucksmore operates from world-renowned venues such as University of Oxford, King's College London, and prestigious boarding schools based in Oxford and East Sussex. Students studying on our courses will stay in twin or single occupancy dorm rooms, separated by gender on each floor, equipped with an en suite and dedicated private bathrooms, a single bed, desk, storage space, lockable safe and wardrobe. Towels and bedding are provided, with regular housekeeping services. Students in London and Oxford will be close to shops, restaurants and all that the city centre has to offer, while the students in Brighton will stay on a stunning 80,000-square metre enclosed campus with modern teaching facilities, including state- of-the-art laboratories and newly furnished boarding houses.

Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit dort. Ich habe viele neue Freunde kennengelernt. Alle waren sehr freundlich und wir hatten jeden Tag Spaß. Vielen Dank an Bucksmore für diese tolle Erfahrung.
Mein Aufenthalt bei Bucksmore war absolut perfekt! Die Betreuer waren alle sehr einladend und sorgten dafür, dass jeder eine tolle Zeit hatte. Der Unterricht war sehr interessant und ich schätze es sehr, dass wir nur 11 Schüler in jeder Klasse waren. Das Beste war, dass ich die Möglichkeit hatte, so viele nette Leute aus verschiedenen Ländern kennen zu lernen.
Ich habe Brasilianer, Menschen aus Slowenien, Frankreich, Thailand und Deutschland getroffen. Es war so schön, weil es ein kulturelles Treffen ist und ich noch nie so viele Leute getroffen habe!
Ich möchte internationale Beziehungen studieren und bin hierher gekommen, um mein Englisch zu verbessern. Alle sind so nett!!!
Es ist hilfreich, Menschen anderer Nationalitäten beim Lernen dabei zu haben, denn das macht das Lernen einfacher und macht Spaß!
