ISSOS International Summer Schools - Cambridge Camp

More than just a summer school, ISSOS Cambridge is a three-week residential experience designed to help young people learn, grow in confidence and build friendships with students from around the world. Living and learning in Cambridge gives students the opportunity to experience life in one of the world's most famous university cities while becoming part of a welcoming international community. Our programme provides the perfect balance of academic learning, creative enrichment, adventure and social activities. Students choose one academic subject and one elective, creating a programme around their individual interests and goals. Outside the classroom, a full schedule of activities, evening events and cultural trips allows students to experience Cambridge and discover more of the UK. At the heart of ISSOS is our international community. By limiting the number of students from any one nationality, we encourage students to step outside their usual friendship groups, communicate in English and form genuine connections with people from around the world. Students leave ISSOS with a greater understanding of different cultures, increased independence and confidence, and friendships that reach across the globe. For many students, ISSOS may be their first experience of travelling or living away from home independently. Our experienced and enthusiastic team creates a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to get involved, try new things and make the most of their summer. From learning in inspiring surroundings and exploring historic Cambridge to competing alongside their Clan and spending evenings with new friends, the ISSOS experience extends far beyond the classroom. It is three unforgettable weeks of learning, adventure and friendship – and for many students, the beginning of a lifelong connection with the ISSOS international family.
