Fees will be retained according to when notice is received: Free Cancellation for all courses starting in June, July, August 2024 until 25th April 2025 or 65 days prior to departure 64-30 days: 100 GBP / 110 Euros retained 29-17 days: 25% of the total invoice retained. 16-8 days: 60% of the total invoice amount retained 7-1 days: 80% of the total invoice amount retained Day of arrival: total fees retainedIf there is insufficient demand for any of our courses or centres, IP International Projects reserves the right to offer an alternative course or centre or, as a last resort to cancel and refund the fees.
How do we train our staff?Since we are a specialist tour operator for junior language courses, your safety and supervision are of major importance to us. This is why we spend a lot of time and money on the selection and training of our staff. The applicants go through several stages during our recruitment process and are assessed for their general suitability, their experience in working with children and teenagers, as well as their commitment.
As part of our recruitment process, our applicants take part in a specially designed training programme where they have to demonstrate their abilities as a supervisor or management team member. The training programme takes place over a number of months and is specific to each position.

En-Suite roomsAll rooms are single en-suite, with 8 rooms in each flat. The flat includes a kitchen that serves as a common room, though cooking and baking are not allowed (the ovens are disabled, but a fridge is available). Each room is furnished with a bed, wardrobe, desk, and chair, with carpeted floors. All rooms are lockable, and one key is provided per student.We cater to vegetarians, gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan diets. Kindly inform us of your special dietary needs at least one week before your arrival for a personalized dining experience.
Take care of your laundry needs with our self-service laundry facilities right on campus. For just £2.20 per washing machine and £1.20 per dryer, you can easily keep your clothes clean. Simply download our app for payment convenience, and you’re good to go, with payment via credit card.

Excursions are a part of our programme and included in the price. During your first week you have one half-day trip included. If you stay more than one week you will have one additional half-day excursion and one full day trip per additional week.
Each trip consists of a guided tour of the area with some interesting background information and stops at the nicest photo locations. Our supervisors will not only tell you more about the city but also where the coolest shops and cafés are, because after the guided tour you will have some free time with your friends for shopping and discovering on your own! The amount of free time allowed depends on the students’ age and on the Traffic during the trip. We reserve the right to organise excursions by public transport.

With class sizes limited to a maximum of 16 students, they will experience a personalized approach to education, allowing for deeper connections with both their classmates and dedicated teachers. Expert Instruction and Comprehensive Materials Our passionate and dedicated teachers are here to guide all our students every step of the way. They bring their expertise and enthusiasm to the classroom, ensuring that our students receive the best possible language education. All course materials are provided, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive learning journey. Online Placement Test Prior to arrival, students will be required to complete an online placement test. This test will gauge students’ current English language skills and knowledge, helping us understand their strengths and areas for improvement. The online test is designed to be convenient and flexible, allowing students to complete it at a time that suits them best. It ensures students are positioned in a class that matches their abilities. If students can’t complete the test beforehand, they will join a mixed-level testing group on their first day, with the opportunity to take the test during their initial lesson. Observation of Speaking Skills Upon arrival and commencement of lessons, our dedicated teachers will conduct comprehensive observations during the students’ first day of classes. Specifically focusing on speaking skills, these observations will provide valuable insights into students’ real-time language abilities and interaction in a classroom setting. Customized Class Placement The speaking component score obtained from the classroom observations will be combined with the results of the online placement test. This comprehensive approach ensures a holistic evaluation of students’ language skills. Based on this combined assessment, students will be placed in a suitable English language level that aligns perfectly with their proficiency. Learning Aligned with Proficiency At our Summer School, class allocation is determined by students’ language level, not by age, education, nationality, or preferences. We prioritize creating international student groups whenever possible, fostering cross-cultural connections and enhancing the learning experience. Progress Assessment for Continuous Growth At the close of each week (Thursday), students engage in a progress test that evaluates their language development. This assessment helps gauge progress and aids in determining if a move to a different level is appropriate. This dynamic approach ensures that students are always learning at a level that challenges and nurtures their growth Our English Course serves as a strong foundation for effective language communication. Each morning session is aimed at specific language aspects: grammar mastery, reading and listening comprehension, and interactive speaking practice. With a focus on enhancing your speaking and listening skills, we're dedicated to nurturing confident communication and breaking inhibitions. Lessons are devoted to project-based learning, group dynamics, writing finesse, and public speaking prowess. Our offerings cater to Elementary (A1) through Advanced (C1) levels, with a minimum duration of 1 week. We provide a Language Level test prior arrival. So that you will be sorted into the correct level. At the end of the stay, you will recieve your language certificate showing your currents level.
A typical day at the IP language camp in Winchester combines language learning, activities, and cultural experiences.
MorningBreakfast (7:30-8:30) followed by English classes (9:00-12:30), where students practice communication skills and explore British culture through interactive lessons.AfternoonLunch (12:30-13:30), then afternoon activities (14:00-17:00) such as sports, creative workshops, or supervised trips around Winchester. EveningDinner (18:00-19:30) leads into the evening program (19:30-22:00), featuring parties, games, or movie nights, giving students time to socialize and relax.Students are supervised throughout, with curfews and support from the International Team, ensuring a safe and fun environment for everyone.
