We understand that plans can change, so our cancellation policy is as follows: Within 14 days of booking: Full refund. Up to 50 days before camp: Deposit retained. 49 to 30 days before camp: 30% of total price refunded. Less than 29 days before camp: No refund. Date changes may be possible, subject to availability. We recommend contacting our team as early as possible if you need to make any changes. You can secure your place with a £50 deposit or pay in full at the time of booking. Health and safety are central to our camp operations. All activities are fully risk-assessed and led by qualified instructors. We follow strong safeguarding procedures, maintain high staff-to-student ratios, and have trained first aiders onsite at all times. Emergency procedures are in place and regularly reviewed.

Instructor led activities (e.g. kayaking and climbing): 1 staff member to 6 children. Low-risk activities (e.g. team building and wide games): 1 staff member to 10 children. All activities are led by qualified instructors or experienced camp counsellors.

Our camps are overseen by an experienced senior leadership team, including a Camp Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead who are responsible for welfare, safety and daily operations. Activity instructors lead sessions within their specialisms, while camp leaders and support staff supervise campers throughout the day, evenings, overnight and for group activities. Staff are always present, visible and supportive, ensuring consistent supervision and pastoral care.

Activity sessions are led by qualified, activity-specific instructors. Camp counsellors are carefully selected for their experience working with children and young people. Our staff hold relevant qualifications such as first aid, safeguarding and youth leadership training.

Yes. All staff undergo enhanced DBS checks before working at camp, in line with UK safeguarding requirements.

All staff complete mandatory pre-camp training covering safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour management, emergency procedures and camper wellbeing. Activity instructors also hold relevant technical qualifications. Ongoing support, briefings and supervision take place throughout camp to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.

We welcome campers from all over the world and are committed to creating a warm, inclusive and respectful environment for everyone. Our staff are trained to support students from a wide range of cultures, backgrounds and abilities, and we actively encourage mutual respect, understanding and friendship throughout camp life. We ensure every camper feels safe, supported and valued.

Our camp follows a clear code of conduct for both staff and campers, promoting respect, inclusion and responsible behaviour at all times. All activities operate under strict safety protocols, with risk assessments in place and sessions led by qualified instructors. Safeguarding procedures, behaviour management guidelines and emergency protocols are consistently enforced to ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

Our camp encourages, low-screen, adventure-focused experience. Children can use their phones in the evenings during quiet time, and we provide a hotspot so they can check messages or speak to home. Phones aren’t allowed during activities so everyone can stay safe, focused and involved. Parents can contact our onsite camp phone at any time for updates, and we’re always happy to let you know how your child is getting on. Due to our camp locations (forests, nature reserves, etc.), WiFi is not accessible. However, we see this as a great opportunity for children to unplug, immerse themselves in adventure, and connect with friends—all while being in the safe hands of our experienced leaders.
