The Kö, the bustling shopping street, is a wonderful place to take in the sights. With its residents’ famous zest for life, Düsseldorf has an almost Mediterranean flair, especially in the summer. Learn more about our German language summer program in Düsseldorf! The school Our students are guests in the Düsseldorf City Hostel, a high-quality facility located on the banks of the Rhine River. Our classes take place in the attractive and bright seminar rooms of the hostel, which are all equipped with up-to-date technology. As our students are housed in the same building, they don’t need to leave the premises to get to class, but can conveniently walk there from their rooms.

Aulas de idiomas
In Düsseldorf, the Humboldt-Institut offers German courses for teenagers during the summer. Every week from Monday to Friday, 30 lessons are taught in small classes. The lessons and the learning content are specially adapted to the age group of teenagers. Through varied forms of learning and a high proportion of speaking, our teachers motivate all students to actively participate in the lessons.
The summer courses in Düsseldorf are offered as a complete package including accommodation, full board, daily leisure activities and excursions.

Alojamento & instalações
The hostel is only a few years old and offers high-quality furnishings. Our students stay exclusively in comfortable, modern twin rooms, which all have en-suite bathrooms.
Escolhemos cuidadosamente os estudantes que partilharão um quarto uns com os outros. Temos o cuidado de corresponder aos colegas de quarto que têm um nível de língua alemã comparável e são da mesma idade, mas falam línguas nativas diferentes. Desta forma, encorajamo-los a falar e praticar o alemão uns com os outros fora da sala de aula. Os rapazes e as raparigas são alojados separadamente.
Os nossos estudantes recebem três refeições por dia (pequeno-almoço, almoço e jantar).
O serviço de lavandaria é oferecido gratuitamente a todos os estudantes uma vez por semana para a sua lavandaria pessoal. A roupa de cama e as toalhas serão fornecidas e trocadas regularmente.
