Panoramica

A quiet kind of inspiration lives at Eton College. Set beside the River Thames in historic Windsor, this world-famous boarding school offers a unique blend of heritage architecture, landscaped grounds, and outstanding sports facilities. With dedicated tennis centres, performance spaces, and a modern sports and aquatics complex, it is an ideal setting for focus, discipline, and growth for our PTI Summer Camps’ program.

  • Ages: 10–17
  • Dates (2026): 2nd July – 16th July 2026 (2-week residential programme)
  • Location: Eton College – Windsor, UK
  • Focus: Tennis (all levels welcome – Recreational & Elite pathways)

A camp for young people to join us for tennis. They will leave with stronger skills, greater self-belief, and a clearer sense of who they are. PTI combines high-level coaching with mindset work, sports science, and structured daily routines so each camper can progress on court while developing habits that serve them in school, sport, and life. The goal is not only sharper strokes, but steadier character.

Training and coaching

  • Daily on-court training in small groups, with clear individual goals and tailored coaching for both Recreational and Elite pathways.
  • Skill blocks for technical fundamentals, movement, point construction, and match play on Eton’s extensive tennis courts.
  • Performance support, including warm-up protocols, mobility work, recovery education, and basic injury-prevention principles.
  • Tactical and mental sessions to improve anticipation, decision-making, and match resilience.
  • Mindset workshops that cover routines, focus under pressure, dealing with nerves, and constructive self-talk.

Life at Eton College

Eton’s environment is a key part of the learning experience. Historic boarding houses, quads, and chapels sit alongside modern sports halls, a 25-metre indoor pool, and dedicated training spaces, giving campers a sense of both tradition and contemporary performance culture.

Between training blocks, campers enjoy team challenges, multi-sport activities, and evening events that encourage social confidence and cooperation. A carefully managed no-phone policy supports presence: young people are encouraged to engage with the moment, their teammates, and their surroundings rather than their screens.

A highlight of the programme is a day trip to London, with the opportunity to visit Wimbledon, offering inspiration on the very stage where many of their heroes compete. A trip to see one of the most iconic Horse races in Windsor and the opportunity to visit London and its timeless buildings and monuments.

Safety, care, and culture

  • 24/7 pastoral care from experienced staff who know each camper by name and track their well-being and energy levels.
  • Clear safeguarding standards and structured routines that balance training, rest, and social time.
  • Healthy, athlete-friendly meals served in a boarding environment that feels orderly, calm, and supportive.
  • An international community where English is supported, respect is non-negotiable, and effort is valued as highly as talent.

Alloggio e alloggio strutture

Eton College sits on the north bank of the River Thames at Windsor, in a historic campus that combines medieval courts, formal gardens and extensive playing fields within a registered historic park and garden of around 18 hectares. This unique setting pairs centuries of tradition with a modern, performance-driven sports environment for young people.

Residential life centres around 25 boarding houses , each housing about 50 boys or girls in single rooms with private bathrooms. Boys and girls are placed in separate Houses. House life is key to the Eton experience, with House Masters, Dames, and staff offering pastoral care, routines, and safeguarding. For visiting campers, this provides a stable, school-style residential environment focused on supervision, structure, and well-being similar to the College community.

Eton offers one of the UK’s most comprehensive sports facilities, including about 40 football and rugby pitches, a 2km rowing lake at Dorney used in the 2012 Olympics, 19 cricket pitches, 50 tennis courts, and four floodlit artificial surfaces. The Eton Willowbrook Centre adds two full-sized Astroturf pitches, a warm-up cage astro, and 20 tennis courts, used by school and community teams under partnerships.

Indoor facilities revolve around the award-winning Sports & Aquatics Centre, called “Athens”. Built on the former outdoor pool site, it features a 25-metre pool with a movable floor, and a versatile four-court sports hall. The building, recognised with a RIBA South Award for design, accessibility, and community impact, includes a central link that brings light and air into the space. A social and teaching area overlooks both the pool and hall, providing a modern setting for training and learning.

Alongside mainstream sports, Eton has a rich tradition in its own games and racket sports. The College features 16 Eton Fives courts, recently refurbished as part of ongoing facility investments. Its sports programme includes hockey, football, rowing, cricket, fencing, swimming, squash, rackets, martial arts, water polo, and more, supported by an Athlete Development Programme focusing on strength, nutrition, and recovery for all levels.

Eton is developing an indoor sports facility with a sports hall (six cricket nets), climbing wall, squash courts, dojo, fencing salle, golf simulator, and additional exercise space, complementing existing outdoor and aquatic facilities. They're connecting chapels, academic buildings, museums, and sports areas. It combines heritage architecture, sports complexes, a rowing lake, pitches, and a modern Aquatics Centre, making it visually impressive and suitable for training, competition, and recovery.

PTI’s summer programme offers a world-class school environment with top sports facilities, competition-level tennis, high-quality indoor and aquatic resources, and boarding care standards. These are rooted in Eton College’s longstanding investment in sport, education, and community use.
