Panoramica
The Fashion, Art & Design Summer Camp at International School of Milan is an unforgettable summer experience, tailored for aspiring young designers! Set in the world’s fashion capital, this camp offers a unique experience into the Italian culture and the creative universe of fashion design.
Over a dynamic two-week programme, students will have the opportunity to learn Italian, explore fashion design processes, develop their creativity, and gain an overview of the Italian fashion system.
Through engaging lessons at school, guided tours of Milan’s fashion, art and design locations and excursions to explore the surroundings, students will be immersed in a creative and enriching atmosphere. We offer the best of the industry and education. Under the guidance of renowned Fashion and Design experts, our courses are designed to unleash the best of student’s creativity.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMME
In the mornings, students can choose between two courses: ‘ITALIAN LANGUAGE & CULTURE’ and ‘ART & FASHION COLLECTION’.
ITALIAN LANGUAGE & CULTURE:
In this course campers will immerse themselves in Italian language and culture through engaging conversations that build grammar skills and vocabulary, while boosting confidence. Teachers will use fun face-to face lessons and interactive methods such as: individual and group projects, quizzes and games, videos, role-playing exercises, art and craft activities, activities in the local area, cooking classes, tote-bag customisation.
ART & FASHION COLLECTION:
In this course campers will explore the steps of the design methodology for a Fashion Capsule Collection, from initial concept to final product. Participants will engage with image research, brand identity, mood board, mood, colour palettes, and material research, all leading to dynamic sketches and designs. The course will also provide an overview of the Italian fashion system and the roles inside its industry. Each student’s final project will be organized into a personalized portfolio.
In the afternoon all students come together for the UPCYCLING & SUSTAINABLE FASHION course. This course offers a unique blend of craftsmanship and creativity, seamlessly integrating fashion with sustainability. Students will explore sustainable manufacturing techniques such as upcycling, recycling, reuse, deconstruction, and reconstruction, working with existing clothing and creating their own final garment or accessory.

Programma
Example of Daily Schedule
8:00 am – 9:00 am: Breakfast is served in the Boarding house.
9:00 am – 12:20 pm: Students attend the course they have chosen: ‘Italian Language & Culture’ or ‘Art & Fashion Collection course.’
10:30 am – 10:50 am: Snack break
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch at the school canteen (or packed lunch during excursions)
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Sustainable Fashion course (all students together)
5:00 pm: Afternoon snack
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Free time* with sports activities run by our Camp Staff, such as basketball, volleyball, swimming pool. Students will also have some free time around the school.
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Dinner at the canteen (or packed dinner in case of excursions)
8:00 pm – 9:00/9:30 pm: Evening fun activities organized by our Camp Staff, inside or outside the school, such as quizzes, talent nights, treasure hunts, karaoke, bowling, movie night, pizza party, disco night, and more!
9:30 pm – 10:30 pm: Free time in Boarding
10:30 pm: Lights out and good night!
Note: Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays are excursion days.
