Das 1968 gegründete Camp Olympia ist ein privates texanisches Sommercamp mit Übernachtung für Jungen und Mädchen im Alter von 6-16 Jahren. Es ist ein klassisches Sommercamp für Kinder in Texas und bietet zwei- und dreiwöchige Aufenthalte für 7-16-jährige Camper und einwöchige Aufenthalte für 6-9-jährige Camper. Unser wunderschöner Standort am Lake Livingston in Trinity, Texas, ist die perfekte Kulisse für SPASS, SONNE und ABENTEUER.
Camp Olympia blends its rich 55+ year camping history and experience with its continual growth and exciting additions, making it the best Texas summer camp – like no other.
Each Camp Olympia camper selects from over 45 adventure camp activities for a truly individualized summer camp experience, ranging from water skiing to golf to horseback riding, so campers get to CHOOSE the activities that interest them for a truly personalized camp experience.
Additionally, Camp Olympia has gone above and beyond many private camps to demonstrate their commitment to safety by complying with the accreditation standards of the American Camping Association (ACA) and requiring an extensive Counselor Training School prior to the beginning of summer.
The camp experience is an integral part of a well-rounded education as children learn responsibility and cooperation at camp while gaining independence and confidence in a tech-free environment. Our dynamic group of COLLEGE COUNSELORS serves as positive role models for your child, and they add fun to every aspect of camp.

Im Camp Olympia haben wir von morgens bis abends Spaß! Die Tage sind gefüllt mit Camp-Aktivitäten, die die Camper lieben, denn im Camp Olympia können die Camper die Aktivitäten selbst wählen! Unsere zwei- und dreiwöchigen Camper können aus über 45 verschiedenen Tagesaktivitäten wählen, von Wakeboarding über Golf bis hin zu Hoardback-Reiten! Unsere einwöchigen SPARK-Camper wählen aus 18 täglichen Aktivitäten, die auf ihre Altersgruppe abgestimmt sind.
Die mehr als 45 Aktivitäten von Camp Olympia sind in 6 Hauptgruppen eingeteilt: Sport, Reiten, Outdoor-Abenteuer, Wasserspaß, Kunst und Freizeithobbys.
Vor der Ankunft im Camp bewerten die Camper ihre Lieblingsaktivitäten, und anhand dieser Bewertungen erstellen wir für jeden Camper einen INDIVIDUELLEN CAMP-AKTIVITÄTSPLAN. Dies garantiert, dass die Camper die Dinge tun können, die sie bereits lieben, und die Möglichkeit haben, etwas Neues und Aufregendes auszuprobieren.
Wenn die Camper im Camp ankommen, erhalten sie ihren Camp-Aktivitätsplan, der 40-minütige Aktivitätsphasen enthält. Jede Aktivität wird von Betreuern unterrichtet, die sich nicht nur darauf konzentrieren, diese Fähigkeiten zu vermitteln, sondern sie auch auf spielerische Art und Weise zu vermitteln.

Unterkunft & Einrichtungen
Camp Olympia has outstanding facilities, including a swimming pool, a challenge course, as well as fields and courts for many activities on its 100+ acre location. We improve the facility each year with additions and enhancements so campers are always in for a treat when they return. Camp just keeps getting better and better!!! While Olympia is located on the breezy shores of large Lake Livingston, it does get warm in Texas during the summer. Unlike most of the other camps in Texas, all of the cabins, bathrooms, our dining hall, and many of the enclosed areas are air-conditioned. Air-conditioned cabins make sleeping at night much more comfortable.

Background checks are conducted on all staff.
Camp Olympia is a tech-free environment. Campers are not permitted to use their mobile phones while at camp (only during travel/transportation). Additionally, counselors are not permitted to use their mobile phones in cabins or while on duty so their attention is on campers and camp activities!
Camp Olympia is making a huge impact on its camper’s lives! The sta is second to none – just an outstanding eort and commitment. I played 9 holes with my son last night. The improvement in his game from 3 weeks ago is amazing. He is very confident in the changes he has made, has more extension and power in the new swing, and he made several beautiful pars and had a couple of legitimate birdie putts (playing from the women’s tees)! I am so pleased for him, and credit to the Jr. Golf Academy!!
Thank you so much for all your hard work in making his camp experience so wonderful. I must add that my simple words of thank you certainly do not adequately express my deep appreciation and gratitude to y’all and all that you do. It’s such a comfort as a parent to continuously send my kids to Camp O each year and know that they will be safe and have a rewarding and memorable time. Thank you for being Camp O’s directors and all that y’all do! We look forward to seeing y’all again next year!
I just wanted to thank you all so much for a great term 4. We all appreciate the light-hearted, nurturing atmosphere at camp and the quality of the counselors that you put together each year who do such an amazing job accompanying them at camp. I also wanted to let you know how reassuring the photos were each day. The volume of photos made sure that we saw a picture of each child at least once a day
