Welcome to Falcon Camp, Ohio’s premier summer camp! We are an old-fashioned, traditional overnight camp, with all of the best activities! We are intentionally small, holding no more than 110 campers at a time, so we will know your child immediately, and be able to tailor their experience to them. There is a ton to do at camp, and best of all, your child gets to choose exactly what they want to do. We offer several choices during each activity period, and they can decide which one they want to do each day. In addition to making sure they are excited about what activities they are going to, this helps foster decision-making and independence.
We offer longer sessions, so your child will return home an “expert” in whatever he or she decides to learn about; instead of just going canoeing, he or she will learn how to canoe. But most importantly, we’ll have fun while we do it! From Sunday night campfires to ice cream socials to Olympic Weekends, we have traditions that have stood the test of time, and keep our campers coming back from year to year. We hope you’ll join us for the summer of 2019 and make it the best one yet!
Facilities include a dining room designed to hold all our campers and support all-camp events, a large campfire ring, an archery and riflery range, two tennis courts, two riding rings, a stables and corral, a baseball diamond, soccer field, basketball court, gaga pit, and volleyball court. We also have spaces for photography and multimedia courses, a boat harbor with multiple sizes of canoes and sailboats, a swim harbor, a fishing dock, a crafts pavillion, a drama stage, and a nature study building. We have four separate blocks of cabins, each with their own set of showers and bathrooms. The cabins are spacious, with twin bunk beds, shelves, and communal space. Each cabin sleeps 10-12, including counselors.
